Why patients choose us
Detailed on-site diagnostics before any surgical recommendation. We won't suggest a procedure your eyes can't safely take.
Real time with the doctor. We explain what we're seeing, why, and what your options are — in the language you're most comfortable in.
Modular operation theatre with modern surgical platforms. Most cataract and refractive cases are home the same day.
What patients say
"My child was injured in the eye by something sharp on a Sunday, when the clinic was closed. When I called in a panic, Dr. Hemali came all the way to the clinic just to examine him. I am extremely grateful — her support meant everything."
"We got my mother operated for cataract surgery in both eyes by Dr. Hemali Doshi. The surgery went very well and she could see clearly from the very first day. Would recommend her to everyone for eye surgery."
"Dr. Hemali is one of the most professional doctors I have ever met. My mother needed cataract surgery and, despite multiple health issues, she handled it extremely well. One of the calmest, most composed doctors we have ever met."

Common questions
Quick answers to what patients ask us most. For anything else, just WhatsApp us.
Vision testing and computerised refraction, a detailed slit-lamp examination, eye-pressure measurement, and a dilated retina check when indicated. We take the time to explain what we find and what — if anything — needs treating.
When a clouding lens starts interfering with daily life — night driving, reading, recognising faces — it's time to discuss surgery. It's a day-care, small-incision procedure (phacoemulsification); you go home the same day. The right time and the right lens (IOL) are decided together after a detailed evaluation. Our IOL guide explains the lens options.
The procedure itself is done under numbing drops and takes minutes per eye — most people feel pressure, not pain. Mild irritation or watering for a day is common; most patients are back to normal routine within a couple of days, with some precautions for a few weeks.
It depends on your corneal thickness and shape, your refractive power, and the stability of your prescription — which is why we do detailed corneal imaging before recommending anything. If LASIK isn't safe for your eyes, alternatives like SMILE, PRK or ICL usually are. Read our eligibility guide for details.
It depends on the procedure and, for cataract surgery, the lens you choose — options exist across budgets. After your evaluation you get a clear, itemised quote with no surprise additions. WhatsApp us with your reports for an indicative range.
Yes — children rarely complain about poor vision, and problems like lazy eye (amblyopia) or squint are far easier to fix when caught early. A check before starting school, and yearly if they wear glasses or spend long hours on screens, is a good rule.
Yes — eye emergencies are seen during clinic hours (Mon–Sat 10 am – 9 pm, Sun 10 am – 2 pm) at our Ghatkopar East clinic. If something feels urgent — sudden vision loss, injury, severe pain — call or WhatsApp us first on +91 81045 98019 and we'll guide you.
Send us a quick WhatsApp with your concern. We'll guide you on whether you need an evaluation, and what to expect.
